The all new
“Tow Torch” acetylene cylinder cart built by Tumbleweed Manufacturing in
The “Tow Torch” cart is built from heavy
gauge steel with welded components that easily bolt together in a matter of
minutes, and is fully adjustable for a wide range of cylinder sizes up to 9.5”
diameter. Larger sizes
available upon request.
What makes the “Tow Torch” cart the
ultimate cylinder cart? Numerous things, beginning with the 20” diameter
(4.80x12) bias ply tires mounted on white spoke steel wheels. 2000lb “Dexter” hubs and solid steel welded spindles. This
suspension provides the stability that only the “Tow Torch” cart can boast.
That is the basis of what makes this the longest lasting, most user friendly
and easiest handling cylinder cart on the market today, both in the shop and on
the jobsite.
The large tires and smooth bearings allow the
“Tow Torch” cart to maneuver effortlessly over obstacles as large as a railroad
crosstie whether being towed or pulled by hand.
It’s compact design
(33”width) allows for easy access through doorways and stairwells yet still
offers a wide enough stance to resist tip-over.
The operator’s handlebar
detaches quickly and stores in its own on-board accessory holder. Simply pin
the tow coupler into the receptacle and you are ready to go.
Attach the standard 2” ball, trailer style
coupler to your tow vehicle, truck, tractor, ATV or riding mower and you can
have the convenience of an acetylene torch anywhere you can ride or drive.
The “Tow Torch” cylinder cart comes standard
with our unique, dual strap, cylinder retention system that tightens securely
and holds bottles firmly in place without rattling.
Other features of the “Tow Torch” cylinder
cart include a handy, centrally mounted lifting ring that allows the entire
cart assembly to be hoisted into the air using a forklift or crane, for easy
transport to upper levels of structures or loading docks.
Mounted accessory storage box is weather
resistant to keep tools dry and comes as standard equipment on all models.
There are also two handy hooks for holding cylinder caps and hose reel rack to
keep hoses in place
Also available is the highly
recommended, rechargeable, water, extinguisher kit that mounts directly to the
cart body. This stainless steel class A fire
extinguisher holds 2.5 gallons of ordinary tap water and has a tire valve type
pressure inlet that allows you to fill
the unit with pressurized air to use as a propellant and
can be recharged using any common air compressor.
The “Tow Torch” Cylinder Cart is not
designed for highway use and is not DOT compliant. Please use it responsibly! Never transport cylinders unless regulators
are removed and caps are in place. Recommended top speed is 10 mph .
